About Pyraflufen-ethyl
Pyraflufen-ethyl is a contact PPO inhibitor herbicide. It is used globally as a post-emergent herbicide for broad-leaved weed control, a potato desiccant, a sucker and side shoot control product for vines and high crops, also a defoliant for cotton.
Characteristics
- Pyraflufen-ethyl is an inhibitor of protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase (PPO Inhibitor, HRAC - group E)
- Contact herbicide effectively working at low rates on broad-leaved weeds in cereals, potatoes and other crops
- Effective control of troublesome weeds
- Pyraflufen-ethyl is a great tool for defoliation of cotton, desiccation of potatoes, hops, suckers in tree crops and side shoots in grapevines and berry crops
- Quick action in all crops
- Efficacy is relatively dependent on the growth stage of target weeds and suckers
- Good mixing partner product to other herbicide actives
- Excellent crop selectivity; only active in direct contact to chlorophyll-containing parts
