Responsibilities:

Research and Development

  • Research new formulation approaches and innovative new technologies for adjuvants, bio-stimulants and bio-crop protection products.
  • Design and execute experiments to develop robust formulations for the various products.
  • Design and conduct Stability Studies and Product Testing Procedures to ensure formulations meet our commercial criteria. Key evaluations include efficacy, microbial stability, pH measurements, physical properties (viscosity, dispersion, particle size, emulsion/suspension, etc.), compatibility testing (container, tank mix, etc.), and ASTM methods.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to formulations and sustainable practices.

Product support

  • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure successful product development.
  • Provide technical support to the Product Development organization. 
  • Participate in technical transfer of formulation processes to contract manufacturing facilities, including site visits.
  •  Contribute to patent applications.

Laboratory management

  • Plan and manage resources, materials, and logistics required to conduct formulation development activities.
  • Analyse data, interpret results, and provide recommendations for target and formulation improvements.
  • Assemble and maintain testing and formulation equipment.
  • Prepare laboratory notebooks, technical reports, summaries, protocols, and methods for the development of company’s adjuvants, bio-stimulants and biopesticides products.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and contributing to a greener future.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, formulation Science, Food Science, Polymer Science, Colloid and Surface Science, Organic Chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with formulations chemistry from food chemistry, agrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemistry or another relevant field.
  • Proven experience in formulation development (preferably in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, or specialty chemicals).
  • A proactive, problem solving and scientifically curious nature.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
  • The ability to work independently in a chemical, microbial or biochemistry lab environment
  • Able to work individually but also as part of a team in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Enjoy working in the lab and with 3rd parties.
  • Good English language skills.
